Built from the logs up

How a pontoon comes together

Every re-deck and overhaul follows the same careful order, from the aluminum logs to launch day. Tap a step to see that part of the job.

A pontoon boat being built In the shop, the aluminum logs go on the stands and get their crossmembers, then the marine plywood deck is bolted down, the woven vinyl floor is rolled out, the rails and fencing go up, the seats and helm are set in, and the bimini top and motor go on. Then it floats on the lake at sunset. 24 FT DECK TURK LAKE CANVAS · RE-DECK TURK LAKE
